The Aegean Regatta returns for its 25th edition from 22 to 28 August 2026, once again taking sailors on a unique journey of sport, culture, and discovery across Greece’s maritime heritage.

With world-class racing, live music, vibrant shoreside entertainment and RS socials almost every evening, this is the biggest celebration of RS Classes and the inspiring sailors who sail them.

The 2026 ILCA 6 Youth European Championships & Open European Trophy came to a close on Saturday in Thessaloniki, with a dramatic final day of racing that had a little bit of everything.

Originally founded in 1956 as the AWRE SC (Atomic Weapons Research Establishment Sailing Club), Burghfield Sailing Club has since grown to become one of the largest inland sailing clubs in the country.

Australia has won the past four Olympic gold medals in the men’s one-person dinghy event, and this week the Australian Sailing Team’s National Squad will line up on the waters where they will chase a fifth and continue that remarkable legacy.

Team Malizia and skipper Boris Herrmann officially christened their new IMOCA boat, Malizia 4, on Saturday in Lorient, marking an important milestone for the team as it prepares for an exciting racing schedule and celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Day 4 delivered four fantastic races, all completed on schedule, with race durations of around 33-34 minutes. Starting in 8-10 knots and building up to 14-17 knots before easing slightly for the final race.

Day one of the Worlds was ripping, with 20 to 25 knots right off the hop. There was clearly some PTSD happening as no one was rushing to get his or her boat into the water.

This year there are five youth bursaries entered, teams all under 25. The XOD Class has paid for the mooring and entry, with members kindly lending their boats.
