If the campervan lifestyle could be summed up in one word, it would be ‘freedom’. Owning a campervan means that you’re able to hit the road whenever you want, to follow your instinct and escape wherever you like – whether it’s a spontaneous weekend to a nearby full-facility campsite, or a multi-week off-grid adventure across Europe, your vehicle is ready whenever you are, to help you enjoy every mile.

There’s a vast array of motorhomes out there, of course – and not every one is capable, comfortable and flexible enough to become the perfect companion on the road. That’s why we’re really excited about the arrival of Bristol manufacturer Bailey’s new Endeavour range of campervans, which is set to launch on 20 August.

New range, more flexibility

The new Endeavour range is the second generation of this popular line-up; now, it’s been modernised and refined to become even more appealing to those looking for a beautifully built, cleverly designed campervan.

The range has been streamlined to include a trio of models – one of which is brand new – and each of which offers something very special. Styling has been updated both inside and out to become more contemporary, and a more flexible options list has been introduced, giving you both choice and the opportunity to specify your new Endeavour how you want, to fit your touring lifestyle.

Brilliant Ford Transit features

So what can you look forward to in the new Bailey Endeavour campervans? For starters, there’s the fantastic driving experience of the Ford Transit, on which each Endeavour model is based.

Over every mile you’ll appreciate the Transit’s brilliant features, which now include an impressive six-speed manual gearbox as standard – you can select automatic as an option. The fully specified cab has adjustable captain’s seats, air-con and cruise control, all of which will go towards making your journey even more comfortable, and making every mile count.

All the kit you need, and more

On the outside, we’re big fans of the new choice of bodywork colour: you can go for Chrome Blue or eye-catching Magnetic Grey, both of which will really stand out on site.

Inside, you’ll find updated upholstery and furnishing schemes, as well as additional ambient opal diffuser lighting throughout. There’s a separate shower head and sink mixer tap in the washroom, while in the B68’s kitchen – and in a first for the UK market – there’s Thetford’s clever 89-litre compressor drawer fridge-freezer.

Those who enjoy off-grid touring will appreciate the new 150Ah lithium battery, allowing them to travel unrestricted for even longer – and it can be paired with the optional 200W solar panel, too.

We reckon you’ll love all of the kit that comes as standard in the Endeavour, but the cost-options list has also been refreshed – from a towbar to a 200W solar panel, you can simply pick the extras you need to make your new Endeavour your own.

Three models, three choices

So that’s the fixtures and fittings – but what about the layouts?

Couples will love the two-berth B62 (£72,999 OTR) – its U-shaped rear lounge offers plenty of space to stretch out and relax. In the middle of the B62 you’ll find both a well-equipped kitchen and a smart washroom.

Then there’s the two-berth B65 (£75,999 OTR). Practicality is key here – tick the options box for an additional two berths in the pop-top roof and four of you will be able to tour in complete comfort. This model offers masses of storage, too.

Finally, don’t miss the all-new vehicle in the range. The B68 (£75,999 OTR) is a two-berth as standard, with another two berths in the optional pop-up roof. Downstairs, the front dinette and U-shaped lounge provide flexible, luxurious living space wherever your sat-nav takes you.

No matter which Endeavour you choose, each model comes in at less than 6m in length and has an MTPLM of 3500kg – so there’s no need to upgrade your driving licence.
