Hymer has upgraded its Mercedes-based B-ML and B-MC ranges for 2027, adding a new layout to the latter, while updating the looks of its CrossOver off-road models.
The upmarket German brand is also expanding its Xperience special edition range, which aims to add higher spec to compact models.
This season the three B-ML models – two A-class motorhomes (I 780 and I 880) and one low-profile (T 780) – have been given new front and back panels, and come in a Tarmac Grey exterior colour.
They are available in two different interior styles: Rochefort Walnut, for a darker feel, and lighter and more airy Matara Teak. The kitchen features a double sink and a mineral composite worktop.
Other standard features give a nod to self-sufficiency and include a 330w solar panel system, up to 360Ah of lithium battery capacity, and a heated and insulated 200-litre fresh water tank. An underslung gas tank is also an option.
The new layout in the more lightweight B-MC Mercedes-based range is the 580, which could appeal to those who are looking for the best fixed single beds motorhome. It comes with a new design washroom and a side kitchen with illuminated handles on centrally locked drawers and a clip-on extension. This season, B-MC models also come in Tarmac Grey, like the B-ML models, and have a new front panel with distinctive headlights. Options include a hybrid hob and a premium sound system.
The two CrossOver models, which cater to fans of both sides of the campervan vs motorhome debate thanks to the low-profile ML-T 570 CrossOver and Grand Canyon S600 CrossOver campervan, have new exterior and interior colours.
The ML-T 570 CrossOver comes in Tarmac Grey on the outside with an Obsidian Black cab, and a Native Bamboo interior, while the Grand Canyon S600 CrossOver is finished in Slate Grey, with an Ivy Green interior, and now features an electric off-road step.
As an option both models can have Tallinn leather upholstery with diamond quilting.
New additions to the Xperience Special Edition range among low profiles include the ML-T 570 and 580 Xperience, both of which come in a Stone Grey exterior finish and come with Mercedes’ 9G-Tonric automatic gearbox and its MBUX multimedia system as standard.
Hymer has also consolidated all its Fiat-based campervans under the Yellowstone range, which now comprises five models – the 540, 600, 601, 602 and 640. All of these are available with the Xperience and Xperience Premium packages, with extra features that include automatic transmission, LED headlights, a fully digital cockpit and a 10-inch infotainment system.
In other recent news, Sunlight has announced it is adding a new adventure-focused Ford Transit-based low-profile range for the 2027 season. The new range is looking to provide extra storage to those who are more adventurous ‘van owner.
