The Half Ton Class Europe and the Half Ton Class Norway are delighted and proud to announce that the Seldén Group from Sweden has accepted to be the main partner of the 2026 Half Ton Classics Cup, organised in Hankø, Norway on 1-7 August 2026.

Ten hardy boats shrugged off truly Arctic temperatures to line up for the Scammonden Water Sailing Club Freezer Open on the 28th of December. The last race on Scammonden’s 2025 calendar is always a good chance to burn off Christmas dinner.

Six Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) volunteers have been recognised in His Majesty The King’s New Year Honours for more than 200 years of dedicated service to the lifesaving charity.

Arran Holman has become a double winner with two different helmsmen in this season’s Seldén Sailjuice Winter Series. Crewing for Johnny ‘The Postman’ McGovern in a Merlin Rocket, Holman hiked his way to victory in the Yorkshire Dales Brass Monkey.

Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th were this year’s “Twixmas” Regatta for radio yachts at Fleetwood MYC. 19 DF95’s and 36 IOM’s has initially entered but we had a few dropouts and so just 17 DF95’s and 30 IOM’s actually competed.
