The penultimate day of the 2025 29er World Championship in Porto brought yet another shift in the competition, as light wind conditions continued to challenge sailors and reshuffle the standings.

After some top-quality pop song bingo turned karaoke on Wednesday evening. the fleet awoke to a drizzly morning for the final day’s racing at the Magic Marine Scorpion Nationals.

The forecast today was for stronger westerly gradient winds of 18-20kts with gusts of 28 and an ebb tide. The race committee decided to take the fleet into Osbourne Bay from a Committee boat.
