The Holy Loch Sailing Club’s annual Polaris Regatta held over the weekend of September 12th and 13th delivered its best turnout for many years, with more than 50 boats competing across the fleets.

The club is situated at Barton’s Point on the NW corner of the Isle of Sheppey. The venue has a unique beauty where there are enough hotels and camp sites to house a sizable fleet, as well as a secure compound on site for camping and motor homes.

With just two more events to complete the 2026 Finn Grand Slam, Bas de Waal remains at the top with John Greenwood in second. Andreas Gillwald has moved up to third after the Grand Slam Silvaplana and Grand Slam Berlin.
