Well, what a difference a day makes. Unfortunately after a series of postponements, racing on Thursday was abandoned however crews awoke on Friday to a lovely breeze and,for the first time this week, the AP flag was nowhere to be seen.

Fourteen Albacores arrived for their Inlands at the picturesque Ogston Sailing Club nestled in the Derbyshire countryside near Matlock. The two-day event was sailed in a variety of wind conditions ranging from 30 knot gusts to almost zero.

After a full day ashore as the Clyde proved too wild to race, the fleet returned knowing the Prince of Wales Championship would almost certainly be decided in big breeze.
