The new season has arrived – and with it, a fresh palette inspired by land, sea and everything in between.

The Dragon Series returns to Wales for the 2026 season with a sparkling lineup of 13 events for junior and youth sailors at clubs across the country.

A sea of red hats honouring Mount Gay Race Day and a good breeze made a great start to day 1 in the 53rd edition of the BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival.

Another sunny Kent day saw 13 boats competing in 5 to 14 knot NW winds which had blown over all England to get to Sheppey so had a few shifts & bends. A new system of each helm taking a turn as race officer and getting average points worked very well.

It was a gorgeous opening day on Biscayne Bay for the opener of the 2026 J/70 Midwinter Championship, hosted by Twelve USA at Shake-A-Leg Miami.

Day 4 on Pensacola Bay was the biggest racing day of the regatta – and it reshuffled the top of both fleets just when it mattered most.

The British team on Black Seal, owned by Richard Thompson (Cape 31); the Spanish boat Stella, skippered by Violeta Álvarez (6 Metres); and the British boat True Story, owned by Martin Payne (Dragon), lead the One Design classes.

This week, 200 adventurers have set sail from Tongyeong, Korea, with the next stop Seattle, USA, as they take on one of the most remote stretches of ocean on the planet: the North Pacific.
