Following a dramatic, light-wind European Championship in Naples that shook up the established order, the international wingfoil racing circuit comes together in Urla, Turkey, this week for the WingFoil Racing World Cup Türkiye.

Glamour conditions, record numbers and keen sailors made for a spectacular finale to the 2025/2026 Chichester Harbour Series. Boats departed Saturday morning from Bosham, Hayling Island and Itchenor, converging on the Hayling Island Committee Boat.

The Streaker open meeting at Waveney & Oulton Broad YC (WOBYC) was a shifty and tactical affair! It counted towards the Streaker HD Sails Southern Paddle Series and the East Anglian Series and attracted a fleet of 17 boats including 10 visitors.

After an opening day sailed in steady northwesterly conditions, the 2026 iQFOiL Open European Championships continued on Tuesday in Portimão, with the fleet returning to the waters off Praia da Rocha for the second day of competition.

SailGP, the most exciting racing on water, is coming to Asia’s World City – announcing Hong Kong as the season-opening showcase in its provisional 2027 calendar.

Racing on day 3 of the IOM World Championship started in a southerly with the course set in front of the Datchet clubhouse, before a heavy rain squall heralded a south westerly which was strong at times, but also had some much lighter patches.

The Hadron H2 fleet held its Inland Championships on 16th and 17th May which was graciously hosted by Queen Mary Sailing Club. Coming into the event light wind specialist Ian Dawson, a serial Inland Champion, was hot favourite.
