Knaus updates its VW Crafter-based Sky TI and Van TI Plus ranges for 2027

The low-profile Sky TI and compact Van TI Plus ranges are the focus for major updates for the 2027 season at Knaus.

Built on the VW Crafter with automatic transmission as standard, this season the Sky TI models come with a 100Ah LifePo habitation battery, and Truma diesel heating as standard, with Alde diesel heating as an option.

There are three models in the range this season: the 650 MEG, which is a motorhome with fixed single beds, and the 700DX and 700DEG (pictured above) with an island bed.

The exterior can be Silver Metallic or Solid Grey, while on the inside, you can have locker doors in Pebble Grey or Salinas Oak. The rear panel gets a redesign with an integrated reversing camera and new Cateye Evolution lights.

The heated double floor, with integrated compartments, provides you with a completely level floor throughout. This season, the seating area has been redesigned, while you get textile wall coverings and beds that are all nearly 2m long.

Kitchens include a 157-litre two-way opening compressor fridge. A drop-down bed is available as an option. There is also the option of having a real glass panoramic roof integrated into the roof cowl.

Also on a VW Crafter and with all-wheel-drive as an option, the Van TI Plus range continues with two models – the 650 MEG with fixed single beds and 700 DEG with an island bed.

As with the Sky TI range, each model has a level floor inside and comes with Truma diesel heating as standard, and Alde diesel heating as an option.

Other brands have also been sharing their 2027 season plans, including Le Voyageur, with the luxury manufacturer giving its motorhomes a complete interior refit for 2027. Another maker to reveal its new season models is Joa by Pilote, with the entry-level manufacturer running 10 Fiat-based models in 2027.
