A two-model range of Fiat Ducato-based campervans that has already been approved by the NCC is among the highlights from Coachman for the 2027 season.
The Hull-based manufacturer has also added two models to its Sportivo low-profile range, and one further model to the Travel Master range which it used to the enter the motorhome market three years ago.
The Veloce range is the first time Coachman has produced any vehicle on a Fiat in the UK, a base vehicle which is in the discussion for the best van for a camper conversion. The line-up comprises the VR65 with a transverse bed, and the VL65 with a rear lounge.
Both Veloce’s run on Fiat’s 2.2-litre 140hp engine with 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. The vehicle comes with an Expedition Grey exterior colour, with 16-inch alloy wheels, a Thule awning, and, unusually for a campervan, an offside services light.
Inside the cab you will find a reversing camera, cruise control and 10-inch infotainment system with DAB radio as standard. A leather steering wheel with controls is also included.

Both campervans in the Coachman Veloce range have a 20-litre underslung LPG gas tank, and come with a 19-inch Avtex smart TV already fitted as standard. The VR65 also has an integrated folding access step for the bed.

Other innovations inside include a clip-on table that can be attached outside with a magnet – so it can fit on either side of the ‘van. This can also be stowed away in a cubbyhole in the floor in front of the travel seats when not needed.

The prices for the models have not yet been revealed, but are set to be by the October NEC Show – if you’re thinking of attending, be sure to look at our Motorhome and Caravan Show discount code.
For those who are thinking of buying a motorhome, the additions to the low-profile range include the Travel Master 565 L – like the existing Travel Master 565 but with an L-shaped dinette instead of parallel settees. Within the Sportivo range, the new 565 Compact is a narrower version of the existing Sportivo 565, while the 565TRAQ runs on a 4500kg Al-Ko chassis, unlike the other two models that have an MTPLM of 3500kg as standard so anyone can drive them.
All three new low-profile models have habitation doors on the Continental side.
Other brands have also been sharing their new season news, including Dreamer. The manufacturer has announced it will be launching a campervan with an island bed and a new Renault Trafic-based ‘van for the 2027 season.
