Heading to one of the best motorhome sites in the UK is always a guaranteed way to ensure you have a brilliant holiday.
The standards provided by campsites across the UK are universally very high, as they continue to up their game, ensuring nothing gets overlooked in the pursuit of ensuring their visitors enjoy the perfect getaway. Yet the vast selection of campsites to choose from doesn’t make it easy to pick the one for you. That’s where this guide comes in.
Everyone will have their own requirements for what exactly they want from a campsite. For some, it will be the peace and quiet of one of the best adults only motorhome sites. For others, it will be facilities for the whole family to enjoy, or that allow them to enjoy specific hobbies, such as fishing. Location will also be important, for instance, if they want to enjoy exploring one of the best seaside destinations in the UK.
However, spotless amenities, helpful staff and well-maintained grounds are just a few of the features that everyone is likely to want, and this is exactly what the best motorhome sites offer.
We’re able to pick out the leading motorhome sites by having our readers scour the UK and vote for the sites that they believe are offering a first-class experience. Our expert team then judge the results and we compile the final 100. Reader comments have highlighted the importance of campsites getting the basics right, including having helpful staff, clean facilities and spacious pitches.
We then publish our Top 100 Sites Guide, where we run through the best motorhome sites from across the UK, breaking it down by region for additional ease. Our 2026 Guide, which is available as a free PDF, also features a directory with a further 600 sites included to help you find the right campsite.
Here, we’re taking a look at the 10 best motorhome sites in the UK.
