Laika unveils a sporty Kosmo campervan and a car-inspired Ecovip range

Laika is entering the 2026 season with a new sporty Kosmo campervan and an updated Ecovip range that also takes much inspiration from automotive style.

The Italian brand, part of the Erwin Hymer Group, is also including a new audio system as an optional extra in its top-notch Kreos range.

Those looking for the best camper vans could be interested in the new Kosmo Supremo range, which comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and Fiat’s 180bhp as standard.

The 5.99m-long transverse bed model also features Pioneer multimedia system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and a rear view camera, adaptive cruise control, plus cab blinds. A skyview sunroof is an optional extra.

The van is warmed by 6kW Truma Combi diesel heating, while the kitchen includes a two-burner hob and an extendable work surface, and the washroom includes a porthole window and a swinging partition to reveal the shower.

You can also choose from one of three interior styles: Azzuro Capri, featuring orange “Noto” eco-leather; Arancio Sicilia, featuring white Carrara eco-leather; and Verde Mugello, where the eco-leather is a cognac colour.

The new Ecovip Titanio models, meanwhile, all come with a new exterior featuring a mix of Expedition Grey and Titanium Grey, with a Black Matte side strip.

Inside, you get Firenze eco-leather furnishings and a multi-level dimmable LED lighting system, along with a three-burner hob with a non-scratch Fenix worksurface in the kitchen, 6kW heating, and single beds that can be up to 2.06m long and 82cm wide.

Laika’s 2026 releases cater to those who are after both a campervan or a motorhome, with the Ecovip Titania comprising eight models in total. This includes four low-profiles (the L2009, L3009, L3019 and L4009) and four A-class motorhomes (the H2109, H3109, H3119 and H4109).

The new optional audio system that has been created specifically for the Laika Kreos range by Jehnert connects to the leisure battery, so can still be used when you are on site.

As standard, it features tweeters and woofers coupled with a crossover that adjusts the central speaker, with a subwoofer integrated into the seat bench and a nine-channel amplifier. It can also be expanded to include more speakers and a connection to a TV, while it can also be adjusted to suit personal preferences.

Laika is not the only brand from Erwin Hymer Group to be launching their latest models. Another manufacturer is Buccaneer, with the upmarket caravan brand releasing two motorhomes for the 2026 season.
